As Metal Sucks documented in a 2019 article, knowledge of Mgła’s far-right and NSBM ties led to the cancellation of their appearances in Berlin (April 28, 2019) and Munich (May 1, 2019). The article also noted the following: 1
• Leichenhalle, a solo project of Mikołaj Żentara (“M.”), has an album called Judenfrei (“Free of Jews”), featuring song titles such as “Jerusalem in Flames,” “Different Solution,” and “China Scum.” 2
• Both Żentara and Maciej Kowalski (“Darkside”) have performed with Clandestine Blaze, a solo project led by Mikko Aspa, a Finnish neo-Nazi; Aspa has, in turn, performed as one of Mgła’s live vocalists.
Nonetheless, on April 28, 2019, Mgła made a Facebook post denouncing accusations of Nazi associations as being part of a “smear campaign”: 3
